Ugly Sweater & White Elephant Parties in Middlebury, CT
Ugly Sweater & White Elephant Parties in Middlebury, CT
Some holiday parties call for a dress code. Others call for the loudest sweater in your closet and a gift swap that gets a little competitive. If your office, friend group or league wants a fun, low-key holiday night, Brewbury Kitchen & Tap in Middlebury is the place to throw it, with house-brewed beers, craft cocktails, arcade games and more than 30 TVs.
Why Themed Holiday Parties Are Worth It
A simple theme gives guests something to talk about the moment they walk in. It breaks the ice for coworkers who do not see each other often, gives friend groups a reason to show up, and makes for better photos than another sit-down dinner.
Easy Party Ideas for Your Group
- Ugly sweater contest: pick categories like tackiest, most handmade and best lights, and let the group vote.
- White elephant swap: set a price limit, number the gifts and let the stealing begin.
- Secret Santa reveal: a natural fit for office teams that drew names weeks ago.
- Holiday game night: arcade games and a friendly scoreboard keep the energy up.
- Big game watch party: December football on 30+ screens.
